Friday
Romance is in the air this Valentine’s weekend at the City Farmhouse Pop-up
Vintage Love Tour at The Vintage Marketplace!   There’s no better way to get in the mood for vintage love than shopping to the sounds of a classical guitar strumming out romantic love songs.  On Friday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. Robert Thompson, one of Nashville’s most active nylon-string guitarist, will perform for shoppers.  Robert has toured throughout the United States and Canada, and at the Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. Robert maintains an extensive solo and duo repertoire and frequently incorporates jazz and Latin works into his performances.

With the vintage craze continuing to increase in popularity, a big question for at
home decorators is “what exactly is my vintage style?” If shabby doesn’t warm your heart, then perhaps “vintage chic” is more to your liking.  Join one of middle Tennessee’s most sought after designers, Eric Ross of Eric Ross Interiors, as he demonstrates tips on “Using Vintage & Antique: More Chic Than Shabby” Friday, February 14, from 2 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.in the City Farmhouse Pop-up Vintage Love Tour section at The Vintage Marketplace.

Saturday
Eric and Samantha Coghlan, recently moved to Franklin, Tennessee from Santa
Barbara County, California where the couple earned the distinctive reputation for creating the finer things of life. The husband/ wife team were successful wine producers at Coghlan Vineyard, creating Cabernets, Blancs, & Pinot Noirs in a much different style than their Napa Valley rivals. But, it wasn’t just wine making that made the duo stand out. Both Eric and Sam are Jeweler Gemologists, and their jewelry designs were so popular that their store front was frequented by LA celebrity clients. On Saturday, February 15, at 1:00 p.m., you’ll have the unique opportunity to sample their wines and find out from Eric just what makes them different from other wineries. To compliment their love for jewelry making, the pair names each wine after a gemstone. Talk about a “gem of a wine”! Event will take place in The City Farmhouse Pop-up Vintage Love Tour section of The Vintage Marketplace.

Vintage Marketplace Show Schedule

September 20, 21, and 22, 2013!!!
Back and Better Than Ever….....
Vintage Marketplace
On the cutting edge of Vintage, Art, Design & Antiques; this select group of exhibitors will inspire the next generation of enthusiasts with their unique style, energy and determination to share what they love. Vintage Marketplace in combination with over 2000 Springfield Extravaganza dealers is truly a winning combination! This is the show to attend in September.
JUNKMARKET...Create Your Own Style, One Piece of Junk at a Time
Sue Whitney of JUNKMARKET, JUNKMARKET Style, and most recently GETFRESH Vintage is the nation’s industry leader in “junk” and “vintage” style. She has authored 3 books, 2 magazines, is currently a contributor for Better Homes and Gardens Country Gardens, and is the most highly respected national speaker in her genre. What is her style? It is the combination of roadside acquisitions, flea market finds, vintage for 400 please, and antiquities all wrapped up in one very stylish, affordable, green, and user friendly lifestyle package. The world is ever changing…JUNKMARKET stays abreast of those changes and offers fresh, innovative, and approachable concepts for you and your home. From the beginning (over thirteen years ago) the original JUNKMASTER had a vision: to pursue her passion and share it with others. That’s something she will never transform. Among other things, Sue will be presenting....”Life as a Porch” As we enjoy the waning days of the Harvest Moon she will show you how to enjoy your porch during the beautiful Fall season. The skeleton of the set will be pulled from the SUV, but the rest will be found on the grounds of VMP. Sue believes that spontaneity is a key ingredient to great design. You may just want to follow her around while she shops and learn how it’s done first hand! Be careful...she may just ask you to help load the golf cart!
