On the cutting edge of Vintage, Art, Design
& Antiques; this select group of exhibitors will inspire the next
generation of enthusiasts with their unique style, energy and determination to
share what they love. Vintage Marketplace in combination with over 2000
Springfield Extravaganza dealers is truly a winning combination! This is the
show to attend in September.

One Piece of Junk at a Time
Sue Whitney of JUNKMARKET, JUNKMARKET
Style, and most recently GETFRESH Vintage is the nation’s industry
leader in “junk” and “vintage” style. She has authored 3 books, 2 magazines, is
currently a contributor for Better Homes and Gardens Country Gardens, and is
the most highly respected national speaker in her genre. What is her style? It
is the combination of roadside acquisitions, flea market finds, vintage for 400
please, and antiquities all wrapped up in one very stylish, affordable, green,
and user friendly lifestyle package. The world is ever changing…JUNKMARKET stays
abreast of those changes and offers fresh, innovative, and approachable
concepts for you and your home. From the beginning (over thirteen years ago)
the original JUNKMASTER had a vision: to pursue her passion and share it with
others. That’s something she will never transform. Among other things, Sue will
be presenting....”Life as a Porch” As we enjoy the waning days of the Harvest
Moon she will show you how to enjoy your porch during the beautiful Fall
season. The skeleton of the set will be pulled from the SUV, but the rest will
be found on the grounds of VMP. Sue believes that spontaneity is a key
ingredient to great design. You may just want to follow her around while she
shops and learn how it’s done first hand! Be careful...she may just ask you to
help load the golf cart!

vendors oozing with style and offering up the finest vintage wares anywhere.
One of these experts will share her wisdom and experience inside the JMS booth…Debra of Annie Sloan Paints will
offer up presentations that are interesting and informative. Make sure to
attend both!! Her presentations are scheduled for Saturday, September 21 and
Sunday, September 22, 2013.

a great value for all you serious shoppers. See you at daybreak! Wait there’s
more. Attention please! The first 2,500 cars will receive swag bags (one per
car) and a chance to win one of 6 shopping prizes in the form of “Vintage
Marketplace Golden Tickets”! There will be five, $100 golden tickets and one,
$500 golden ticket. You may just be one of the lucky ones and find a golden
ticket in your swag bag. All golden tickets must be redeemed at Vintage
Marketplace, September 20-22, 2013. In addition to the golden tickets
lucky show goers might also find a $250 gift certificate for Heart of Ohio,
free food vouchers (of which there are 100’s), oodles of vendor discounts, and
some last minute surprises brought to you by the fine folks of Vintage
Marketplace.

one knows the dealers at Vintage Marketplace better than Sue. Make sure to join
her for an up close and personal shopping experience. Along the way I'm sure
she will share tips, tricks, and trends. Don't be afraid to ask questions...she
loves to share!! You better wear your running shoes though…Sue knows how
to make her way around a market.
11AM to Noon:
Debra of Annie Sloan Paints In the mood for some
education…and a whole lot of fun?! Join Debra and the folks from Annie Sloan
Paints at the JMS tent and watch and learn how to transform vintage pieces of furniture
from beast to beauty. There will be giveaways to boot!
12:30 PM to 1:30 PM:

performance will be Jake & Elwood’s Blues Revue followed by the amazing
Parrots of the Caribbean. You won’t want to miss either band! This is a free
performance with your paid admission. Beer and food will be available for
purchase during the concert. Be sure to where your dancing boots...there will
be a par-tay going on!

will be served. The meet and greet will be held at the JUNKMARKET
Style/GETFRESH Vintage booth. Donuts and coffee are limited and on a first
come, first serve basis, so get there early!!! Oh, and by the way Sue Whitney
will be there signing books if still need to pick one up.

THE VINTAGE MARKETPLACE
Host “A Vintage Affair” Live From the Runway
Vintage Marketplace has some big fun planned for Saturday, February 16th beginning at noon. We're calling
it “A Vintage Affair: 25 Ways to Bring Vintage Home, Live from
the Runway”. The concept is the
brainchild of Sue Whitney, noted author and founder of Junkmarket Style and Kim
Leggett owner of the uber-popular City Farmhouse in Franklin, Tennessee. When these two put their heads together the
outcome can be nothing less than spectacularly stylish, a little quirky and too
much fun to miss. Take a fresh look at vintage items as they are elevated to
couture status on the catwalk by live runway models.
Sue and Kim will each
present a design showcase that will reflect their own personal and unique vintage
lifestyle. The theme of Kim Leggett’s showcase will be Designing Your Home in Farmhouse
Style. She’ll be on hand to offer design ideas and inspiration. Be sure to visit Sue Whitney’s design
showcase entitled, Life as a Porch. Who doesn’t love to while away the day on the
porch? From morning coffee to an
afternoon nap and on to an evening of casual entertaining, you’ll find the essentials
that bring vintage into your lifestyle and onto your porch.
If that isn’t exciting enough, (brace yourself) the
Tailgate-Music Valley Antique Show proudly presents Eric Heatherly. We know
you’ve heard him on the radio and seen him on Great American Country (GAC) and Country Music Television (CMT).
This is your opportunity to see him perform live and in person at the show from
11 a.m. to noon and again from 1p.m. to 3p.m. The place will be rockin’.
The Tailgate-Music
Valley Antiques Show will be held February 14-16 at the Hendersonville Expo
Center, 90 Volunteer Dr. Hendersonville, TN. Show hours will be Thursday noon
to 5 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m
